THY WILL BE DONE
Joseph took Mary as his wife only after the Word of God came to him through the angel. From that moment forward, Joseph obeyed every divine instruction—whether delivered by an angel, a vision, or a dream. His obedience protected and preserved the destiny of his family. Joseph lived a life fully submitted to the will of God. It was not easy: Despite the ridicule of people, he obeyed. Despite the unimaginable responsibility of raising the Son of God, he obeyed. Despite his fears, insecurities, doubts, and confusion, he obeyed. Joseph reminds us that the will of God must be the central pursuit of every believer. Only those who do the will of the Father will enter the Kingdom of Heaven. Therefore, we pray: “Lord, let Your Kingdom come, and let Your will be done in our lives.”
Kingdom Nugget:
Love and loyalty in the Kingdom of God are measured by our obedience to His voice and His instructions.
WISDOM KEYS
1. Obedience is the proof of trust. You cannot claim to trust God while resisting His instructions.
2. The will of God may be uncomfortable, but it is always safe. God’s plan carries God’s protection.
3. Divine direction is the pathway to divine preservation. Every instruction you obey becomes a shield in your journey.
